Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced civil engineer to assist the Project Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing project costs, coordinating with authorities, and managing M&E installation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in LTA/MRT projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Job Description & Requirements

• To assist the Project Manager in implementing the project
• Must have the experience in Diaphragm wall and pilling and
• To oversee Engineer, prepare method statement, drawings, materials, work progress, and other relevant documents
• To oversee project costs are kept within budget and the completion of site activities are within the specified time frame
• To assist and co-ordinate with relevant authorities on submissions, inspections, and testing requirements.
• To perform tasks at work sites.
• Leading and supervising M&E installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinating among consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure proper execution of all technical works.
• Providing engineering support and supervision to the project teams to meet project milestones.
• Ensuring full compliance with PUB, EMA, and MOM safety and regulatory standards.
• Reviewing shop drawings, technical submissions, and preparing as-built documentation.
• Overseeing the quality assurance of workmanship and ensuring all works meet project specifications.
• Managing the inspection, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board
• At least 6 years of experience in LTA / MRT projects
• Must be literate in English and have experience using computer software, and Microsoft office such as Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
