Job summary

WATG, a leading hospitality design firm, is hiring a Project Manager for the Singapore office. You will oversee the coordination of internal and external teams, protect design integrity, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery across all project phases.

The role requires a decade of PM experience, mastery of design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and SketchUp), and strong leadership and client communication to translate the client's vision into high-quality outcomes for diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Professional license preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of related project management experience
• Proficient technical skills, including Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software like Rhino, Grasshopper, and SketchUp
• Experience with the full project lifecycle through post-occupancy as appropriate
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
• Consistent track record of successful project delivery
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills (internal and external)
• Proactive problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Successfully represents the client's goals and needs of the team and WATG's requirements to the client
• Creates the project work plan and adjusts the work plan as needed
• Negotiates additional services as appropriate
• Monitors project processes and quality to make sure that design concepts meet internal and external expectations
• Creates detailed project schedules, work breakdown structure, and budgets, and makes timely decisions to meet project milestones, financial status, and results
• Maintains high-quality standards for design and production of the required deliverables on time and within budget
• Has the technical expertise to successfully write project narratives, research code requirements, review cost estimates, design and technical deliverables, construction contract documents, and sub-consultant work
• Understands and manages the relationship between the project contract terms, the team assignments, budgets, and schedules, and controls the resulting impact on WATG's financial results, forecasts, and staffing plans
• Manages timely and accurate billings and collections
• Coordinates with the appropriate stakeholders on matters related to business development, marketing, and negotiation in the procurement of new projects and clients, especially as it relates to add services from existing clients
• Assists with the preparation of the contract, including terms and conditions
• Leads effective team collaboration across service lines in external and internal project meetings
• Manages and monitors the day-to-day activities of the project team and their assignments
• Supervises and mentors team members toward effective and efficient project progress and professional development

WATG is hiring a Project Manager for our Singapore office.

ROLE

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the internal and external project team, focusing on maximizing the design value of the project, producing high-quality output, reducing costs associated with rework, and meeting positive financial results. The ideal candidate will inspire teams, champion the client's vision, and safeguard WATG's design integrity and commercial success. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing projects through all phases of development until completion. The Project Manager acts as a trusted advisor, anticipating challenges, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining the confidence of both clients and teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
