Job summary

Schenker Asia Pacific in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver APAC customer projects. You will lead business solutioning, write BR statements, and partner with the APAC Head PMO to drive portfolio management and timely reporting.

You will plan and manage implementation, monitor progress, define scope, and manage risks. Lead workshops, build project teams across virtual and local teams, and travel as needed to ensure successful go-live.

Qualifications

• 6 years project management or equivalent.
• 3 years in logistics operations.
• Self-motivated with Prince II accreditation preferred.
• Logistics experience in operations, solutions design, systems and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead business solutioning and write Business Requirements Statements.
• Customer facing, lead SME and partner with APAC Head PMO.
• Accountable for delivery of all customer projects across APAC.
• Portfolio management and prioritisation of projects.
• Manage and report project progress with risk mitigations.
• PMO engagement across APAC and with customers.
• Manage go-live, lead project meetings, and workshops.
• Coach and facilitate work stream leaders meetings.
• Escalate issues and manage change requests.
• Collaborate with senior management on implementation issues.
• Travel for business trips as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Business Solutioning and writing of Business Requirements Statements
• Customer Facing, Leader SME
• Accountable (Partners with) for the relationships with the APAC Head PMO
• Accountable for the delivery of all Customer projects across APAC
• Responsible for the portfolio management and prioritisation of projects
• Responsible for the Management of assigned projects
• Responsible to Project tracking to agreed deliverables, with timely and accurate reporting
• Responsible for PMO Engagement across APAC and with the customer
• Responsible for CLDM /Implement and compliant to customer Project Methodology
• Responsible to manage / report business and project risk, with proposed mitigations

Specific experience in the following areas:

• 6 years project management or equivalent
• 3 years in logistics operations
• Self-motivated
• Prince II accreditation preferred
• Logistics experience in logistics operations, solution design, systems, implementations and projects, preferablywith returns/spares logistics and/or domestic distribution.
• Experience in handling customer accounts in Hi-tech industry
