Job summary

WERIDE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager for our autonomous driving deployment and testing program. You will work in our research and development center and coordinate with engineers to translate cutting-edge AV tech into commercial deployment and operations.

You will manage deployment planning, safety tests with LTA, and vehicle operations in Singapore, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery, while collaborating across departments and with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, automation, vehicle engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in autonomous driving deployment and testing preferred.
• Excellent cross-department collaboration.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project deployment, planning, execution and timely communication with customers to ensure smooth delivery, safety and quality.
• Responsible for communication with stakeholders including LTA, site owners for document preparation and submission, vehicle homologation and test permits application.
• Responsible for scheduling and facilitating Autonomous Vehicle (AV) safety tests with LTA and its affiliated organizations.
• Oversee the operation of autonomous vehicles in Singapore, collaborating closely with partners to ensure safe and smooth operations.
• Assist in project deployment and operations related matters such as arranging vehicle maintenance, charging, towing, vehicle importation into Singapore etc.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Project Manager to join our research and development center in Singapore, focusing on the deployment, testing, and operation of autonomous driving vehicles for Singapore launched projects. Here, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with top-notch engineers to explore cutting-edge autonomous driving technologies and translate them into commercial deployment and operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for project deployment, planning, execution and timely communication with customers to ensure smooth delivery, safety and quality;
• 2. Responsible for communication with stakeholders including Land Transport Authority (LTA), site owners etc for any document preparation and submission, vehicle homologation and test permits application;
• 3. Responsible for scheduling and facilitating Autonomous Vehicle (AV) safety tests with LTA and its affiliated organizations;
• 4. Oversee the operation of autonomous vehicles in Singapore, collaborating closely with partners to ensure safe and smooth operations;
• 5. Assist in project deployment and operations related matters such as arranging vehicle maintenance, charging, towing, vehicle importation into Singapore etc;

Job Requirements

• 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, automation, vehicle engineering, or a related field;
• 2. Good knowledge of the autonomous driving system with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• 3. Experience in autonomous driving, especially experience related to autonomous vehicle deployment and testing is highly preferred;
• 4. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented spirit, able to collaborate effectively across departments and teams;
• 5. Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English, able to read and understand technical documents in English and participate in international technical exchanges and collaborations
