THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the successful completion of the project involving deliverables on time, within the budget and full scope from Temenos as well as Partners wherever applicable.

You will be accountable of all services contractual engagements related to the project and the financials of the project. You will be responsible for Project Initiation, Planning, Execution/implementation, Monitoring and control of the project until the successful delivery with Closure. Also take ownership on project deliverables with progress reporting, project team management, solution driven approach and enhance the Client relationship in all aspects.

OPPORTUNITIES
  • You will determine the scope and the business objectives of the project and the critical success factors of implementation projects (completion of the Project Definition Document)
  • You will create project proposals, RFPs, estimates, and schedules
  • You will prepare and communicate Project Plan to client, project team and Client Services Management
  • You will take ownership of all the phases of the project from Initiation until successful closure of the project
  • You will plan, manage and maximize utilization of project resources, lead status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.
  • You will perform risk management to mitigate project risks, align project goals and outcomes with the organization's strategic objectives and manage complex projects, multiple projects and engage with complex clients
  • You will develop and maintain close relationships with the client and ensure they are fully satisfied
  • You will obtain Client sign off, when necessary, on project definition and scope, project deliverables and agreed milestones and all change control items
  • You will implement and manage project Change Control procedures, monitor the quality of deliverables according to Temenos’s Implementation Methodology, standards, and maintain Project Files and TMQ documentation
  • You will manage client expectations and ensure implementation is within the agreed scope and timeframe.
  • You will perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability as may be required from time to time
SKILLS
  • You should have university degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • You should have PMP certified or equivalent preferable
  • You should have minimum of 10 years’ experience as Project Manager in software development or product customization environment delivering large / complex enterprise software projects to the financial services industry
  • You should have previous experience in Core Banking solutions replacement/ implementation will be advantageous
  • You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You should have experience in independently driving projects and managing cost, schedule, and quality
  • You should have excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • You should have strong financial and business acumen
  • You should have working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point
  • You should be prepared to travel and spent time on client site
