Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager specializing in BMS and M&E systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree in relevant fields and at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include managing project deliverables, site management, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical specifications and deadlines. This role is crucial for ensuring cost-effective project execution and adherence to customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in M&E / BMS in the construction industry.
• Understand system design, review technical specifications including quotations.
• Knowledge in BMS systems, including controller programming, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project deliverables and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
• Perform site management of installation works and inspections.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project deliverables & ensuring project is completed on time and within budget
• Perform site management on the installation works, inspections, testing, commissioning and handing over of BMS/ ELV systems to clients
• Analysing and management of projects risks, cost and budget and contractual issue.
• Liaise with the clients, consultants, maincon / M&E team, sub-contractors and internal team and departments.
• Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; track schedule progress in the field; and update the schedule regularly.
• Organising, guiding and motivating of engineers under his/her charge.
• Ensure all project activities are efficiently and cost-effectively executed throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensuring compliance to project scope and technical specifications

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering / Mechanical / Building Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in M&E / BMS in construction industry.
• Understand system design, review technical specification including quotation.
• Knowledge in BMS system, such as system architect, controller programming, on-site testing and commissioning
• A resourceful individual with good organization, time management and problem-solving skills
• Certified PMP is advantageous but not a must.
