Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of road and building works is preferred. The position requires effective on-site management and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majored in Civil Engineering recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Managing schedules, budgets, and resources, and coordinating with clients.
• Involves regular site inspections, risk management, and progress reporting.

• Leading project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
• Managing schedules, budgets, and resources, and coordinating with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors
• Prepare master construction program and catch-up program, if applicable
• Requires regular site inspections, risk management, and progress reporting
• Ability to manage Subcontractors and plan in progress for all works on site
• Involve in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all
• Effective communication with stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships are key
• Ability to address and solve on-site issues that may impact project schedules
• Adherence to safety and environmental regulations, implementing best practices, and resolving technical issue

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majored in Civil Engineering recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry
• Experience in Road Works / Building Works Project will be preferred
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing the safety and timely delivery to projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
