Job summary

A leading energy management company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in managing electrical SCADA projects and a strong understanding of budgeting and financial implications. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing financial commitments, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) project orders, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. This role will be based in Singapore.

What will you do?

  • Cost control, monitor, forecast and ensure delivery of financial commitment, cost, revenue, invoices.
  • Project coordination includes attending customer meeting, following up customer inquiry, request and areas of concerns, prompt and positive feedback with solution, plan work schedule for the project under responsibility
  • Project Progress tracking and reporting to customers and management in a timely manner, such as submittal/approval, cost, schedule, manpower, procurement, and quality issue update.
  • Site status monitoring and reporting, like installation progress, quality compliance, manpower status, etc.
  • Manage variation orders, such as identify and interpret the customer change request, drafting out and submitting quote, etc.
  • Assist on EPMS engineering document updating especially on design changes, such as drawings, IO schedule, bill of material, specifications, operation, and maintenance manual, etc.
  • Initiative and ownership to pick up various knowledge areas of project, i.e. project management skills, communication skills, Schneider Electric EPMS systems lines and offers such as
  • Eco structure Power Automation Systems (EPAS)
  • Power SCADA Operations (PSO)
  • Power Monitoring Expert (PME)

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Equivalent.
  • 5-8 years proven track record in managing electrical SCADA and package projects.
  • Familiar with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Commercial and legal implications of contracts.
  • Good understanding of budgeting and financial implications, including cash flows
  • Good knowledge of contract law and trade documents, project management.
  • Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems and standards.
  • Proactive & able to work independently.
