A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project schedules, ensure timely compliance with quality standards, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders. The role includes managing documentation and enforcing safety regulations while reporting directly to the Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with main contractors and stakeholders to align project goals.
• Manage project schedules and handle delays effectively.
• Monitor site progress to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings by Engineers and Supervisors.
• Oversee all project documentation for accuracy.
• Handle contract documents and verify claims for accuracy.
• Enforce safety regulations at the site.
• Report to the Project Director and follow instructions.
• Maintain project records and provide updates.

Job description

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and progress.
• Attend site walks and meetings; resolve issues promptly with all stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, align with main contractor’s master schedule, and handle delays.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
• Ensure Engineers and Supervisors follow the latest approved drawings.
• Oversee and manage all project drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper implementation.
• Handle contract documents like Extension of Time (EOT), Variation Orders (VO), and claims.
• Prepare and submit site progress claims; verify subcontractors’ claims for accuracy.
• Enforce safety rules and PPE requirements with site safety officers.
• Report to the Project Director and follow instructions for smooth project delivery.
• Maintain project records and provide regular progress and risk updates.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
