Job summary

NCS, a leading technology services firm operating across the Asia Pacific, seeks a Senior Lead Consultant to drive proposal development and support services documentation.

The role covers strategic planning, service development, and client relationship management. You will lead tender presentations, oversee project delivery, ensure governance, and guide the team in producing high-quality templates and outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of related experience in Infrastructure Service Delivery Management.
• ITIL certifications are preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Team player who is able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of proposals and tender presentations.
• Support the planning and execution of strategic initiatives for the practice.
• Assist in design and development of innovative service offerings and marketing collaterals.
• Support documentation of intellectual property and thought leadership for the practice.
• Manage project delivery to meet budgets and timelines; ensure governance and quality.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer/partner relationships; coach team members.

The Senior Lead Consultant is responsible to lead the development of the proposal and tender presentation etc and to support documentation relating to services provided by the team.

What will you do

Corporate/ BAS Strategic Planning & Execution

• Provide inputs and support the development of the AOP for the practice
• Support the execution of the strategic initiatives that are aligned to NCS, BAS and the consulting practice

Service Innovation and Development

• Support the design and development of innovative solutions for existing service
• Support the design and development of new innovative service offering to ensure competitiveness and increase the value
• Support the design and development of up-to-date marketing collaterals for the consulting practice
• Support the design and development of methodology, templates, tools to ensure service delivery

Strategic Capability Development

• Support the documentation of new strategic capabilities for the practice
• Support the documentation of intellectual property (e.g. thought leadership/ points of view) of topics relating to the practice

• Business Development
• Lead the development of the proposal and tender presentation
• Support the business development opportunity
• Support the development of the value proposition of the consulting offering and each proposal

Project Delivery

• Responsible for the financials of the project assigned
• Lead and ensure the completion of team's project deliverables within allocated budget and timeline
• Support setting of standards, design and develop high quality templates for team
• Ensure high standard of delivery by staff/ within team
• Comply to corporate governance
• Ensure staff's compliance
• Improve work process within the team
• Improve methodology, templates, tools to ensure operation excellence (e.g. shorten delivery timeline, reduce effort)

Customer/Partner Relationship Management

• Support the development of long-term relationship with customers during business development and project delivery
• Manage customer relationship at project management level for project responsible
• Support the development of strategic partnerships with internal parties to strengthen the practice's go to market and delivery model, hence increasing the competitiveness of the practice

Team/ People Management

• Manage resource plan for the project
• Ensure self's billability and utilisation rate
• Coach and manage team and individual consultants
• Develop high performing, cohesive teams within the project
• Create and provide opportunities for staff development within the project

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• At least 7 years of related experience in Infrastructure Service Delivery Management
• ITIL certifications are preferred
