A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a coordinated Site Engineer to oversee site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have at least 2-3 years of experience in construction and M&E coordination work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential. This role offers a salary range of $3500 - $4500 with a performance bonus.
Duration: 1 year contract (renewable/convertible)
Location: Ang Mo Kio + Client Sites
Salary Range: $3500 - $4500 + Performance Bonus
Working Hours & Days: Mon to Fri (8.30am to 6pm)
• Coordinate with main contractor and subcontractors on all site-related activities
• Attend daily site meetings with M&E consultants, architects, and stakeholders
• Ensure all teams are working with the latest approved drawings and project documents
• Liaise with RTO/Consultant for inspections and ensure timely approval
• Arrange and manage team members for short interval control (SIC), ensuring records are maintained
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of inspection and project records
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and in‑house safety policies
• Monitor and track daily site progress and report updates to the Project Manager
• Communicate and disseminate information from client/consultant/main contractor to all relevant teammates
• Track and report any reworks/abortive works to the Project Manager
• Update as‑built drawings to reflect any changes to installation works
• Monitor subcontractors’ work progress to ensure alignment with the project schedule
• Monitor site material quantities and coordinate with the Project Manager / System Team / Subcontractors on procurement to ensure sufficient material availability
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in construction or M&E coordination work
• Strong knowledge of site coordination, project planning, and documentation processes
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and familiar with inspection procedures
• Good understanding of WSH regulations and safe work practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or equivalent drafting tools)
• Willing to attend site meetings and conduct regular site walks
• Possessing a valid driving license and own transport will be an added advantage
