Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer for office interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Mechanical & Electrical, along with experience in the M&E and commercial office fit-out industry. Responsibilities include overseeing project activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to budget and specifications. This role offers a salary of up to $6000, with a 5.5-day work week.

Qualifications

  • At least Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
  • Working experience M&E and commercial office fit-out industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all project activities, teams, and site operations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, landlords, consultants, and clients.
  • Create and evaluate project safety paperwork, risk assessments, and permits.
  • Assist with projects from pre-contract to completion adhering to specifications.
  • Examine contracts, specifications, and tenders focusing on cost negotiation.
  • Monitor budget control, variation work, progress payments, and project costing.
  • Create technical proposals, tender submissions, supplier quotes, and project plans.
  • Attend customer and consultant meetings to discuss problems and monitor developments.

Position: Project Engineer (Office Interior Fit-Out)

Salary: up $6000 (depend on exp)
Working Day: 5.5 Days (Alt Sat)
Working Hour: 9am - 6pm | 9am - 1pm
Working Location (office): Loyang Crescent (may be required to be station out of office)

Job Responsibilities
  • To guarantee efficient execution, oversee all project activities, teams, and site operations.
  • Effectively coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, landlords, consultants, and clients.
  • Create and evaluate project safety paperwork, risk assessments, and permits.
  • Assist with projects from pre-contract to completion while adhering to scope, budget, and timeline specifications.
  • Examine contracts, specifications, and tenders with a particular emphasis on cost negotiation.
  • Keep an eye on budget control, variation work, progress payments, and project costing.
  • Create technical proposals, tender submissions, supplier quotes, and project plans.
  • Attend customer and consultant meetings to discuss problems and monitor developments.
