Job Description
This position is central to providing technical and project support for our fleet of floating production and storage assets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with a strong engineering background and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the document management system for all floating asset projects, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Develop technical submissions, detailed specifications, and project progress reports.
- Contribute to project lifecycle management, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet key milestones.
- Conduct technical assessments and support the review of vendor and contractor documentation.
- Serve as a key liaison with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with class and flag state regulations.
- Aid in the development of project budgets and monitor expenditures to maintain financial control.
- Handle the review and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and vendor invoices.
- Collect, analyze, and present technical data and performance metrics to guide decision-making.
- Uphold adherence to all industry standards, certification protocols, and insurance requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture).
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an engineering and project support capacity within the offshore or marine sector.
- Familiarity with mobile offshore units or floating storage systems is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven capability in producing precise technical documentation and managing project finances.
