A leading project management firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to manage and oversee project activities in construction and industrial settings. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering. This position may require on-site work and travel.

Job description
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee project and site activities - ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and budget - through effective planning, resource management, and coordination.

Coordinate and supervise vendors/subcontractors to maintain quality.

Perform equipment setup, start-up, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after handover.

Review technical specifications, drawings, and scope documents for compliance.

Prepare and submit project safety documents, ensuring compliance with Singapore safety regulations and procedures (e.g. WSH Act).

Handle project submissions and documentation, ensuring all materials are accurate, current, and properly filed.

Work closely with the Project Team, Manufacturers, and Vendors to meet customer expectations within project timelines.

Act as the main technical liaison for clients, consultants, and vendors.

Lead project meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Handle preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders when required.

Conduct operational and maintenance training for clients.

Improve project tracking methods, documentation, and reporting processes.

Requirements

Minimum ITE/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years project management experience within construction, M&E, or industrial sectors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project/Excel for scheduling and reporting.

Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to work independently and as a team.

Able to perform hands‑on physical works.

Willing to work onsite (construction/industrial environments).

Willing to work long or irregular hours if required.

Willing to travel if required.

Working Location: East

Working Hours: 5.5 days work week
