Job summary

A construction recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee subcontract projects, ensuring quality control and budget management. The ideal candidate should have a Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, be familiar with AutoCAD, and have strong project management skills. Candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply. This position offers a 5.5-day workweek with alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the company's construction projects including quality control and project budgets.
• Handle Payment Claims for the Project.
• Monitor project progress and assigned tasks.

Skills

Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings

Knowledge of AutoCAD software

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage the company's construction (subcontract) projects, including quality control (QS), project budgets, value orders (VOs), meetings, site walks, site progress, site installations, labor, technical support, inspections, project completion, and project handover.
• capable of reading drawings and extracting the bill of quantities.
• Store and retrieve business records, documents, and reports, as well as digitize them into the computer system inside the appropriate folders.
• Handle the Payment Claim for the Project.
• Monitor the project and the assigned tasks.
• Project submission and progress coordination.
• Track the development of fabrication and production.

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or other technical related field
• Candidates with no experience are WELCOME to apply
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings
• Open for 5.5 Days with Alternate Saturdays.
• Successful candidate must have Class 2B motorbike license
