A leading staffing company in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in project planning and vendor management within the Precision Engineering sector. The ideal candidate will typically hold a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and possess up to 2 years of relevant experience in the Oil/Gas and Petrochemical industries. You'll be responsible for coordinating project activities and monitoring procurement processes. Qualifications

• Preferably 0-2 years relevant experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Construction Industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project controls and Construction work processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

To assist the Project Team in project planning, monitoring, coordination, engineering and design reviews, vendor data, procurement related issues, coordination with vendors to meet the progress and budget.

• Project co‑ordination with Client, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Teams, vendors for all project management activities related to Mechanical Equipment
• Assist Project Manager in Vendor Correspondences & Minutes of Meeting (for Mechanical Equipment)
• Evaluation of vendors Technical & Commercial Proposal
• Monitor and follow through procurement workflow processes (Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order / Post Award / Coordination for Timeline / Delivery to Site / Site Commissioning)
• Coordinate with planning engineers for progress monitoring
• Interpret Construction and Technical DrawingsPreparation of Method of Statement, Risk Assessments for various installation works
• Prepare and review Mechanical Equipment procedures
• To initiate and undertake action to prevent occurrences of non-conformity

Requirements

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably 0-2 years relevant experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Construction Industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project controls and Construction work processes.
