Job description

• Good earning potential with Basic Salary + Allowances + AWS + Above average Variable Bonus (paid biannually)

• Exposure to a mix of Commercial and Government construction projects

  • Clear Career Progression: Project Engineer → Senior PE → Assistant PM → PM → Project Director

  • Hands-on site experience with support from experienced seniors

• Location: Site-based (company provides transport provided to and from nearest MRT station to project site)

  • Assigned to the site nearest to your home, subject to business manpower needs

• Working Days: 5.5 days per week

  • Hours: Mon–Fri, 8.30AM–5PM | Sat, 8.30AM–1PM

Salary

• Basic Salary:

  • Project Engineer: $2,800 – $3,800 (depending on Qualification and Experience)

  • Senior Project Engineer: Up to $4,500 (commensurate with Experience)

  • Project Manager: Up to $7,000 (must have M&E Construction background)

• Allowances: $200 Transport + $100 Handphone

• Bonus: AWS + VB

About the Role

Join an established Electrical and Mechanical Contractor handling Construction (ground-up) projects. The company takes on a mix of Private and Government projects and functions as either Main- or Sub-Contractor, depending on the scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Electrical Installation works for Construction projects, ensuring compliance with Design, Safety, and Schedule
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and other Sub-Contractors to manage progress and resolve technical issues
• Conduct Site Supervision, Inspection, and Testing of Electrical Systems (Power, Lighting, Control)
• Support Tender Submissions, Cost Estimation, and Documentation for ongoing and new projects
• Work with Suppliers and Contractors on Materials Procurement, Specifications, and Delivery timelines
• Participate in Project Planning, Resource Allocation, and Progress Tracking to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare and review Shop Drawings, coordinating with Main Contractors and Consultants to incorporate design changes where necessary

Requirements

• NITEC with min 1 year experience, or Diploma and above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 1–5 years of experience in site-based Electrical Project Engineering within Construction projects
• Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders (Client, Consultants, Main-Con, Sub-Cons) and handle site-based challenges independently
• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to work on-site when required
