Job summary

A main contractor construction company in Singapore is seeking a qualified Project Engineer. Key responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with daily operations, liaising with consultants and sub-contractors, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should hold a Professional Certificate/NITEC or higher in Civil Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing day to day operations of project.
• Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors on the project matters.
• Attend regular meetings with owner/sub-cons on project related matters.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries.
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection.
• Update the project quality plan as necessary.
• Assist Project Manager on assigned tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing day to day operations of project.
• Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors on the project matters.
• Attend regular meetings with owner/sub-cons on the project related matters.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during project execution.
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard.
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate.
• Assist Project Manager on the tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma, Degree in Civil Structural Engineering
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Microsoft Project
• Min 4 - 5 years of related field experience in Singapore
