Responsibilities

• Understanding the construction plan of the project and ensuring timely delivery of projects as per approved schedule.
• Managing daily activities on site and attending site meetings.
• Working in collaboration with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Clients.
• Preparing project-specific Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS), Risk Assessment (RA), Fall Prevention Plan (FPP) and Safe Work Procedure (SWP).
• Supervising and ensuring contractor/subcontractor/supplier delivers quality works on site as per approved construction documents/drawings.
• Supervising and ensuring proper handling of materials during transit and receipt on-site.
• Reporting immediately to Project Leaders and Project Manager in case of discrepancy/defects.
• Preparing quality-related incident reports.
• Supervising and ensuring contractor/subcontractor/supplier complies with statutory safety requirements.
• Performing daily toolbox meetings with the site team.
• Ensuring safety-related infringements are rectified immediately.
• Preparing safety-related incident reports.
• Providing recommendations on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Proposing technical solutions for problems that cause delays.
• Presenting the site daily reports to Project Leaders and Project Manager.
• Preparing the completed works and documentation for project handover.
• Maintaining the documentation of the construction projects.
• Assisting Project Leaders in preparing post-project reports.

Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO45001)

• Supervising and ensuring contractor/subcontractor/supplier complies with statutory safety requirements/in-house safety rules by Client – at all times.
• Performing daily toolbox meetings with the site team.
• Ensuring safety-related infringements are rectified/corrected immediately on site.
• Preparing safety-related incident reports.
• Providing recommendations on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Proposing technical solutions for problems that are causing delay in projects.
• Presenting the site daily reports to the Project Leaders and Project Manager.
• Preparing the completed works and documentation for project handover to Client.
• Maintaining the documentation of the construction projects as required by ISO9001 and ISO45001.
• Assisting Project Leaders in preparing post-project reports.
