Job summary

AZBIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a professional for a project management role involving mechanical and electrical design work. Responsibilities include assisting in project planning and supervising subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and ideally have 2 years of relevant experience. Willingness to travel to Johore, Malaysia for assignments is necessary. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are important.

Qualifications

• Good to have exposure/experience on BMS in Data Centres.
• Willing to travel to Johore, Malaysia for work assignments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Involve in conceptual and detailed design of mechanical/electrical/BMS engineering works
• Assist Manager in Project planning, budget cost control and execution of Project
• Coordinate with Main Con and other contractors for BMS installation work
• Supervise a group of subcontractors and ensure that works are executed within and acceptable standard of workmanship
• Prepare site progress report and necessary project documentation that may include method statement
• Ensure timely hand – over (delivery) of project while maintaining high quality standard of optimum cost (Cost effectiveness)
• Ensure that the relevant installation drawings are accessible at the point of use
• Review the nature of non-conformities detected in product/work and determine the disposition of the non-conformities
• Resolve technical issues relating to installation, commissioning and testing
• Responsibility for the successful completion of the projects and meet customers satisfaction.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Preferable with 2 years of relevant project management related working experience
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Good communication, writing, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Good to have exposure/experience on BMS in Data Centres
• Willing to travel to Johore , Malaysia, for work assignments
