Project Engineer - ACMV [ Design / Calculations ]

Project Engineer - ACMV

Location: Raffles
Basic Salary: $5000 - $6000

Responsibilities:

Perform ACMV system design and calculations, including cooling load, duct/pipe sizing, pump head, and chilled water balancing.

Prepare, review, and approve design, shop, and as-built drawings in compliance with codes and project specifications.

Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and clients for approvals, submissions, and inspections.

Support project planning, scheduling, and oversee ACMV installation works.

Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution.

Conduct testing & commissioning (T&C) of ACMV systems, including AHU, FCU, chillers, cooling towers, and VRV/VRF.

Prepare technical documents, progress reports, risk assessments, and manage variation orders.

Assist in cost monitoring, budget control, and troubleshooting site issues while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Requirements:

Good technical knowledge in ACMV design, load calculations, and system sizing.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar design software.

Familiar with local codes and regulations (SS553, BCA, ASHRAE, NEA, PUB).
