Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer for a 24-month contract at Bedok Campus. The role involves managing project documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring effective project delivery. Candidates must possess a degree in Engineering and relevant project experience in the Automatic Fare Collection system is a plus. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage document review process and follow up on comments.
  • Coordinate design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Liaise with contractors to monitor and update work schedule.
  • Prepare project summary reports for progress reporting.

Job Title: Project Engineer / 24-Month Contract

Location: Bedok Campus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 6.30pm / 8.5 working hours per day

Salary: $7k - $8,6K

Duration: 24-Month Contract

Job Description
  • The scope of Project Engineer shall include but not limited to the following:
  • Manage the document review process, including collating comments from all reviewing parties and ensuring proper follow-up to the review comments;
  • Manage and coordinate the design, installation, testing and commissioning activity, including coordination with all stakeholders (contractors, site owners, end users);
  • Liaise with the contractors and stakeholders to monitor and update the programme and work schedule;
  • Provide the assistance to the project team in terms of project delivery;
  • Prepare project summary reports for progress reporting; and
  • Manage the administrative activities of the project, including coordinating meetings, preparing meeting records, preparing the presentation material and drafting letters for issuance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Relevant project management or project experience in the area of Automatic Fare Collection system in Singapore transit environment will be a plus;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for Windows;
  • Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to work and collaborate with team;
  • Able to cope with flexible working hour;
  • Be expected to perform night works during engineering hours;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; and
  • Be expected to travel regularly between offices and sites.
