Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a role that involves preparing product specifications, liaising with sales and technical teams, and coordinating site activities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and experience in the HVAC Controls & Instrumentation field. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in relevant fields.
• Preferably with knowledge in HVAC Controls & Instrumentation for M&E Industry.
• 3 years of working experience in the related field is an advantage.

Job description

Job Responsibility

• Required to do up the product specification for customers.
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
• Liaise with consultants/contractors and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors or customers.
• Maintain coordination with customers regarding technical matters and developments.
• Liaise with the contractors to monitor and update the testing program and work schedule.
• Liaise with the various project teams, internal and external parties, to ensure that all required resources are promptly made available
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plans, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
• Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably with knowledge in HVAC Controls & Instrumentation for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Industry or equivalent.
• 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to work in a team as well as independently.
