Job summary

E&F Recruitment PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lifting Operations Supervisor to lead on-site lifting activities in Singapore.

You will plan, review and supervise lifting plans for crawler and mobile cranes, prepare method statements and risk assessments, and ensure safe execution in coordination with the operations team. You will maintain registers, permits and maintenance records for lifting equipment, monitor compliance status, coordinate with vendors for hire and servicing, and supervise

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site lifting activities and supervise lifting operations in coordination with the operations team.
• Plan, review and supervise lifting plans for crawler and mobile cranes, and prepare method statements, risk assessments and SWPs.
• Act as focal point for site lifting operations and coordinate with lifting supervisors, riggers and signalmen to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain registers, permits, certificates, inspection reports and maintenance records for lifting equipment and plant.
• Monitor compliance status of lifting plant and related records to ensure readiness for safe operation on site.
• Coordinate with vendors for hire, mobilization, maintenance, servicing and repair of cranes and lifting gear.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors’ lifting works to ensure compliance and safe execution.

Job description

• Lead, plan, organize, and supervise all lifting operations on site in coordination with the operations team.
• Prepare, review, and update lifting plans ,erection plans, method statements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures for crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and other lifting activities.
• Act as the focal point for site lifting operations and coordinate closely with lifting supervisors, riggers, and signalmen to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper registers, permits, certificates, inspection reports, maintenance records, and other documentation for plant, machinery, and lifting equipment.
• Monitor the validity and compliance status of lifting plant, equipment, and related records to ensure readiness for safe operation on site.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the hire, mobilization, release, maintenance, servicing, and repair of cranes, lifting gear, plant, and equipment.
