Job summary

A leading energy company in Singapore seeks a Project Assistant to support the Project Manager with planning and scheduling tasks. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of project management experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, supervising mechanical and piping installations, and ensuring quality control. Qualifications

  • Experience in ACMV calculations including heat load and pump size.

  • Prepare shop and as-built drawings.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • To assist Project manager in planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
  • Involve and coordinate with sub-contractor on mechanical and piping installation work on site.
  • Assist Project Manager to check and evaluating the progress claims submitted by the sub-contractors on the work done in terms of quantities and quality.
  • Supervise all works performed by subcontractors at site to ensure that quality works are produced and meet client’s requirement.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work
  • Prepare shop drawing, as-built drawing.
  • Assist Process and interface Manager to resolve problem with client
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in project management, preferably in handling ACMV and in construction industry
  • Experience and relevant knowledge in ACMV calculations including heat load, pump size, chilled water system performance
  • Keen to learn, possess positive attitude and able to work independently
