Job summary

Ideal candidates should hold an engineering degree with expertise in CNC Machining, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates with relevant experience in metal fabrication and semi-con industry will have an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and provide engineering support and solutions
• Oversees technical processes
• Prepare and generate Process Management Plan (PMP)
• Create Geometry and check machining simulation
• Carry out in process measurements, maintain product quality
• Maintain and improvise procedures and work instructions when necessary. Generate and process engineering data
• Ensure equipment/machine is properly maintained and meeting uptime/OEE
• Produce actionable insights from data to improve production efficiency
• Responsible for product overall performance including yield and quality
• Initiate, lead, implement, drive yield, quality and productivity improvement project
• Investigate the process and defects related issues and identify opportunities for improvement
• Perform process and defect trouble-shooting
• Manage cost and time constraints of projects
• Work closely with QA/QC Engineer to monitor and improve process capability. Review existing data and control in order to ensure it will meet the requirements
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Knowledge in Robotic Turn & Milling Cell
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in precision engineering is required for this position
• Able to read Engineering Drawing
• CAM or CAD Programme knowledge
• Prefer with CNC Machining knowledge
• Strong in analytical skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work in cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
• Candidates with relevant experience in metal fabrication, semi-con industry, Precision Engineering background will be an advantage
