Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to manage daily work activities in the steel fabrication sector. The ideal candidate has a diploma in engineering, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD. Responsibilities include managing work activities, organizing materials, and communicating with clients. Benefits include annual and medical leave, medical benefits, and transport provided.

Qualification & Requirements
  • Min. Diploma in engineering on oil gas, offshore & marine industry
  • Familiar with desktop PC and basic knowledge on AutoCAD
  • Familiar basic knowledge on ISO Management system and procedures
  • Min 2 years in steel fabrication shop or shipyard
  • Knowledge of steel materials, fabrication methods and welding processes
  • Knowledge of fabrication codes, standard, classification rules
  • Basic knowledge of NDT and testing methods
  • Experience to communicate with clients and third‑party surveyor
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to people of all levels
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily work activities and status
  • Familiar to read and develop construction drawings with client specifications
  • Organize material, facilities and relevant equipment for the works
  • Inspection, documentation on updated engineering drawings
  • Communicate & inspection with QC and third‑party inspector
  • Preparation testing & inspection, packing on final product till delivery
  • Other ad‑hoc day‑to‑day operations task.
Benefits
  • Annual Leave: 14 days per annum (pro‑rated based on length of service)
  • Medical Leave: 14 days per annum as per MOM guidelines (pro‑rated based on length of service)
  • Medical Benefit: S$800 per calendar year (pro‑rated based on length of service)
  • Working Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Two-way transport provided: pick‑up and drop‑off point at Boon Lay.
