Specialising in Design & Building of utility systems, prefabrication/ DFMA works, facility & plant maintenance and construction implementation such as structural steel, piping, storage tanks & silos as well as the equipment installation, we take pride and passion in all that we do.

The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the below:

  • Prepare and submit required documents for Project, working with respective stack holders based on project proposal.
  • Prepare and maintain the project document summary.
  • Upon confirmation of project resources, update other stakeholders to prepare submission and record for final MDR.
  • Prepare and follow up with Engineering and drawing related documents.
  • Receive, review, update and issue latest revised drawing to project team.
  • Prepare and monitor STQ / RFI for technical details.
  • Preparation and updating of project schedule.
  • Prepare and update Regular reports and Project Forecast.
  • Base on approved layout and schematic drawings, prepare and update MTO upon approval from client.
  • Escalate any abnormalities compared to bidding quantity to PM and procurement team.
  • Update the revised MTO (material take off) to project team, ensuring material availability as well as manpower resources.
  • Attend daily toolbox meeting.
  • Update Project managers about the progress, plans and challenges.
  • Assist in the preparation of the complete subcontract Scope of Work.
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure that we have the latest equipment connection drawings.
  • Prepare, monitor and update status to procurement, and submit monthly progress claim.
  • Record additional works and variation orders.
  • Prepare variation claim with proposal team.

To be a good fit, you would possess these qualities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably managing projects for Semi-con, Pharma & Oil & Gas.
  • Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD software & Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enjoy challenging yourself in a fast pace environment.
