Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation, according to the Project Management Plan and master construction program
• Civil Structure Design (CSD) / Structural, Electrical and Mechanical (SEM) design development
• Liaising with consultants on design analysis, design work and design check for approval
• Liaising with client, QP(D) and QP(S) on design submission and work progress supervision
• Liaise with consultants for work inspections and to resolve technical issues on site
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/subcontractor and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Site inspection for civil work, which includes excavation, structural, casting and ensure that the work is executed as per the project specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities
• Supervise sub-contractor's activities & accomplishments, Planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material.
• Preparation of various programs such as 4 Weeks Rolling Program, Baseline Program, preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accidents in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned
