Job summary

A leading solar energy company in Singapore is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems. You will collaborate with clients and sub-contractors, manage project timelines and ensure safety compliance. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in solar project management, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in solar construction project management.
  • Understanding of Solar design and engineering is required.
  • Solar design experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems.
  • Help identify and engage sub-contractors to support the project.
  • Coordinate activities with clients and other sub-contractors.
  • Ensure workplace safety at all times to comply with local regulations.
  • Provide sales support function when required.
  • Assist in tenders, RFQs, budgets, and reports.

Job description
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head, Project Management, you will assist the Project Manager in the overall installation,testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems. You will help identify and engage sub-contractorsto support Energetix, and coordinate our activities with the client and other sub-contractors within a job-site.You will assist in meeting project budgets, deadlines and managing client expectations.

  • Assist to prepare, plan and monitor project schedulesAssist to coordinate any required project permitsWork closely with local partners, suppliers and client representatives on project related matters
  • Attend client meetings where necessary
  • Participate in regular internal technical meetings to discuss project status, project resources and otherneeds including plan meetings and record minutes of meetings
  • Assist to plan, arrange and monitor all project components to ensure timely delivery to meet installationtimelines
  • Ensure workplace safety is implemented at site at all times to the compliance of local regulations, and toensure zero fatality or lost time injuries.
  • Ensure proper documentation of projects
  • Provide sales support function when required
  • Assist in tenders, RFQs, budgets, reports
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A diploma or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from a recognised university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in solar construction project management
  • Understanding of Solar design and engineering is required.
  • Solar design experience would be advantageous
