Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer to manage and execute projects effectively. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural), has 1-3 years of site experience, and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include coordinating teams, preparing documentation, and ensuring project completion on time. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) and is familiar with Eurocode design guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Administer operations teams including engineers, supervisors and workers.
  • Preparation of documentation including project status reports and work procedures.
  • Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of the project.
  • Monitoring and controlling the costs of materials and labour.
  • Liaising and coordinating with all parties for project completion.
  • Attending site meetings and inspections.
  • Solving construction issues with the team.
  • Ensuring quality control of the project.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring the project starts on time and ends within the estimated duration.

Job Scope:

As a Project Engineer, the candidate has to plan, execute, monitor, control and manage any project works that are assigned to him/her. Only candidates with degrees recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board may apply.

Responsibilities
  • Administer operations teams including engineers, supervisors and workers to complete the entire project scope
  • Preparation of documentation including project status report, method of statement and work procedure for the project.
  • Planning, executing, monitoring and control and closing of the project.
  • Monitoring and controlling the cost of the materials and labour.
  • Liaising and coordinating with all parties such as clients, consultants, consultants’ representatives, site supervisors, sub-contractors; on all aspects of the project to ensure smooth, timely and successful completion of the project.
  • Attend site meeting, inspection.
  • Solving construction issues with the team.
  • Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met.
  • Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed.
  • Ensuring that the project starts on time and ends within the estimated duration.
Requirements
  • Must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) and is familiar with Eurocode design guidelines
  • Must possess good communication skills (Written and Verbal).
