A construction management company in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee project execution, planning, and coordination. Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. To be responsible for execution, planning, coordination, monitory and commissioning projects assigned by the Project Manager.

  2. To co-ordinate and liaison between departments, the daily Company activities relating to project implementation, design, planning, material procurement, delivery, installation, testing & commissioning and after sales service.

  3. To maintain up-to-date records and plan all changes made on site and update as built drawings for future submission of Operation & maintenance Manual during project handling over.

  4. To attend site meetings relating to the project assigned and prepare progress reports as and whn required by the Management or Client.

  5. To supervise and take responsibility of Installation Team.

  6. To liaise and discuss with Consultants, main contractor and sub contractors concerning project's technical and coordination issues.

  7. To take measurements, check and verify all claims made by contractors undertaking the Company's work.

  8. To prepare monthly progress claims, maintain up-to-date records of the claims and follow up on the payment certificate for the particular project assigned by the Project Manager.

  9. Collaborate with Electrical and Automation Department to handle testing and commissioning of Company's product and system.

  10. Ensure progress reporting of the Project Manager.

  11. To provide necessary documents as needed by the Operation and Maintenance Team. To ensure all records are maintained and suitable for the efficiency of after sales servicing work.

  12. To ensure the Safety and health practice, including hygiene and cleanliness matters, are being carried out and implemented at all time at the project site.

  13. To perform and task deemed necessary by the Management for the efficient running of the operation of the Company.

Requirements
  • Recognized Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

  • Specialist Diploma In Construction Productivity

  • Min 2 years working experience in construction industry with min 1 year in Singapore

  • Able to multi-task, Independent, self-discipline, willing to learn

  • Able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat
