Job summary

A growing engineering company in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional to oversee construction projects. The role involves project management, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering and have at least two years of experience in the construction industry, along with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Qualifications

  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Construction industry.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing projects at one or multiple stipulated sites
  • Liaise coordinate with clients, consultant, project supervisors and sub-contractors on project related issues and to ensure project objectives are met
  • Lead site consultation and participate in designing & for projects, tender submission etc
  • Plan, lead and supervise upgrading works, addition and alteration works
  • Ensure designs / drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements, and good engineering practices
  • To attend site matters / discussions to resolve technical / site issues and progress matters
  • Planning and co-ordinate on all fire installation works
  • To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
  • Monitor and control project schedule, materials delivery and budget etc
  • lead a team of supervisors and workers and oversight of manpower for project execution
  • Continuing to improve all installation works schedule and quality of work through proper planning of work method, materials procurement and selection, and efficient site management
  • prepare & submit monthly progress claim, follow up their approved payment cert, payment & etc
  • To prepare, submit Variation Claims with instruction documents & part-plan from client
  • To place materials order to Purchaser in advance as per
  • Order list as per site requirement
  • Maintain all filing systematically & uploading of softcopies
  • in the system
  • To provide facilities and administration support to the
  • Organization
  • Establish and maintain a detailed tracking and filing system of all documents
  • Responsible for ensuring implementing safety measures
  • Any other roles and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company and/or by the Company’s Director(s) and/or by your Reporting Manager
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma,Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Construction industry
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or other engineering software is an advantage
  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, Interpersonal and Problem-solving
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
