Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The Project Engineer will play a key role in overseeing and managing various projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, operations knowledge, HRIS understanding, leadership skills, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of HRIS and operations knowledge
- Integrate between Intercorp Hardware & Software Solution (cloud experience is an advantage)
- Work with Sales consultants to understand client's working environment and expectations
- Provide business rules and system consultation to the client
- Conduct site surveys and advise client on the infrastructure requirement for Hardware installation
- Support software integration, customization, and configuration with HRIS platforms and operational workflows.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients during implementation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Track project progress and keep stakeholders updated, addressing any issues or delays quickly.
- Perform system training to the end users, including HRIS and operational system usage
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Intercorp Products and Services
- Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to resolve project challenges
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align solutions with HR and operations needs
- Support departmental/team administration activities including procurement, asset management etc.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
- Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
- Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
- Document and report project progress to collaborators and clients.
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in Computer Systems, IT, or related field
- Good Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- 1–2 years of Project Engineer experience in both Hardware and Software applications
- Strong project management and communication skills, technical proficiency in HRIS platforms, and collaboration with HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Possess a strong sense of initiative, commitment and responsibility (can-do attitude)
- Good teamwork and knowledge-sharing among teams
- Team player with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills (preferably in both English and Chinese)
- 5-day work week (occasionally on weekends due to customer requirements)
