About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director / Senior Manager.

The successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties and job scope :-

  1. To lead the project team comprising project manager, project/site engineer, BIM modeller, supervisor and skilled workers in executing specialist subcontracting jobs in air‑conditioning & mechanical ventilation (ACMV) and electrical works; and/or
  2. To lead subcontractors and in‑house technicians in carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair works for the building premises of Gain City.
Responsibilities
  • To provide leadership, direction and management of construction projects, as well as maintenance and repairs of building premises.
  • To oversee the planning of the overall project/work schedule and required resources such as manpower, equipment and transportation
  • To monitor work progress to ensure timely completion
  • To ensure quality work delivery in accordance with approved method statements and contract specifications
  • To ensure works are been carried out in a safe manner with the necessary risk assessments and workplace safety measures in place to manage project risks
  • To oversee project finance to ensure works are completed within the allocated budget
  • To ensure strict compliance with relevant government regulations and contractual obligations
  • To oversee the preparation and submission of documentation and drawings to the relevant government agencies, clients, consultants and/or main contractors.
  • To engage and manage project stakeholders including clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction related works, in particular in the field of ACMV or Electrical engineering
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, Singapore standards and industry practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment
