Job summary

The Opportunity
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the design and delivery of complex aviation and airside infrastructure projects.
  • Drive business development initiatives and contribute to strategic market positioning in aviation and civil engineering sectors.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resources across regional and global offices to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop project scopes, negotiate contracts, and manage financial performance to meet commercial targets.
  • Represent Arup in high-level client engagements, industry forums, and strategic planning activities.

Is this role right for you?
  • Minimum 15-25 years of experience in aviation design, construction, and project leadership within a consulting environment.
  • Proven expertise in airside infrastructure systems, including operational experience in secure airside environments.
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with Chartered Membership or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and delivering large-scale aviation projects, including stakeholder and contractor management.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safety standards (including Safety in Design), and industry best practices.
