Our client is a leading Main contractor with a strong portfolio of high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Singapore. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major building projects from inception to completion.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director with a proven track record of delivering complex building construction projects in Singapore from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and strong stakeholder management skills to oversee multiple high-value developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of building construction projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and handover.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Drive quality assurance and control throughout the construction process.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Provide strategic input on design, procurement, and construction methodologies.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Mentor and develop project managers and site teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments in Singapore.
• Experience of leading Building projects from $100m to $500m+ in Singapore is a MUST
• Strong knowledge of local construction regulations, BCA requirements, and project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• PMP, PE, or similar certifications are a plus.
