Project Director (HDB Projects)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead and oversee our construction projects, particularly in HDB developments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management capabilities to ensure successful execution from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage the overall delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including design coordination, tender, construction, and handover phases.
- Participate in project tendering, proposal preparation, and presentation to clients and authorities.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Liaise with HDB, consultants, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, resources, and progress reports to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, safety, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience managing HDB projects in a leadership or senior project management capacity.
- Solid understanding of HDB procedures, tendering processes, and technical requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale residential or public housing projects.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
