A leading property management firm based in Singapore is seeking a Project & Cost Coordinator to oversee cost estimation and project coordination for renovation projects. The successful candidate will manage vendor quotations, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with design guidelines. Strong analytical skills and experience in facilities management are essential for this role.
Review and verify vendor quotations for facilities management and improvement works to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Validate quantities, unit rates, and scope coverage against actual site conditions before submission for approval.
Provide cost comparison and support recommendations for vendor selection.
Ensure quotations are consistent with approved designs, materials, and technical standards.
Schedule of Rates (SOR) & Client Quotation Preparation
Prepare and build up client quotations using the Schedule of Rates (SOR), applying cost estimation independently of vendor quotes.
Support management in preparing cost estimates, budget proposals, and variation submissions.
Project Coordination & Implementation
Manage and coordinate minor improvement, renovation, and fit-out works from planning to completion.
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Verify work completion for payment certification and project closure.
Design & Compliance (Resident Fit-Out Works)
Assist in the first-cut review of drawings, material submissions, and method statements for resident fit-out works to ensure adherence to client’s design guidelines and specifications.
Coordinate design clarifications and approvals with contractors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all resident fit-out works meet design guideline, statutory requirements, and technical compliance.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain organized records of quotations, approvals, and cost submissions.
Prepare progress updates, variation summaries, and handover documentation.
Support internal audits and project performance reporting.
