Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for a project assistant to support the Director in coordinating construction activities. Responsibilities include site visits, preparing project documentation, and managing schedules. Ideal candidates are proactive, possess good measurement skills, and are comfortable working both in the office and on-site. Familiarity with MS Office and the ability to read construction drawings are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany Director to construction sites and attend meetings.
  • Prepare monthly progress claims and assist in quantity checking.
  • Follow up and update the project master programme.
  • Able to read architectural, structural & M&E drawings.
  • Assist in taking measurements and basic quantity calculations.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, site reports, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Follow up on site issues to ensure work is completed as scheduled.
  • Arrange appointments, meetings, and manage project documents.
  • Support procurement, quotation comparison, and project planning.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties related to both project and office operations.

Skills

Experience in construction industry
Good calculation / measurement skills
Strong coordination, communication & leadership qualities
Proactive and responsible
Able to work independently

Good command of English
