The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities
- Responsible for general administrative and coordination support to the project team;
- Manage and maintain project related files, records, timesheets and claims;
- Developing in-depth understanding of project scope, i.e. timelines, engineering fundamental and project outcome;
- Ability to work in a power generation environment;
- Capable of working in a tight schedule;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Being point of contact for various working groups;
- Assist in purchases such as raising purchase request, sourcing, and coordinating of goods deliveries within allocated budget & deadlines;
- Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, employees & subcontractors) to obtain necessary clearance & safety induction arrangements;
- Assist the project engineer with submission of safety documents & other relevant documentations;
- Co-ordinate and establish good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Engineer / Directors.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in MS Words & Excel
- Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, organized, multi-tasker, able to work independently and a pro-active team player
