Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an administrative and coordination support specialist to assist the project team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in MS Words and Excel, along with the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively, are essential. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and managing project files and documentation.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for general administrative and coordination support to the project team;
  • Manage and maintain project related files, records, timesheets and claims;
  • Developing in-depth understanding of project scope, i.e. timelines, engineering fundamental and project outcome;
  • Ability to work in a power generation environment;
  • Capable of working in a tight schedule;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Being point of contact for various working groups;
  • Assist in purchases such as raising purchase request, sourcing, and coordinating of goods deliveries within allocated budget & deadlines;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, employees & subcontractors) to obtain necessary clearance & safety induction arrangements;
  • Assist the project engineer with submission of safety documents & other relevant documentations;
  • Co-ordinate and establish good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Engineer / Directors.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Words & Excel
  • Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, organized, multi-tasker, able to work independently and a pro-active team player
