- Project Planning and Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, and team schedules using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Primavera).
- Coordination and Communication: Act as the central point of contact, facilitating clear communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, construction, manufacturing), clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Documentation Management: Control the lifecycle of all project documentation, including technical drawings, quality assurance records, inspection reports, meeting minutes, contracts, and permits, ensuring they are current, properly filed, and accessible for audit and compliance purposes.
- Budget and Cost Control Support: Monitor project expenses, track actual costs against forecasts, process invoices and purchase orders, and identify potential cost-saving measures to adhere to the allocated budget.
- Procurement and Logistics: Coordinate the procurement of materials, plant, and equipment, including liaising with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to meet project timelines.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Support Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance processes, which may involve documenting quality control issues, reviewing certifications, and participating in safety audits.
- Progress Tracking and Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks or deviations, and prepare detailed status reports and presentations for project managers and stakeholders.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document outcomes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- On-site Support (as needed): Visit sites (onshore or offshore) to monitor progress, inspect working practices, and provide on-site technical or administrative support.
