As the Project Asset Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of production equipment and utilities systems at our Singapore site. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, driving maintenance excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to support the delivery of high-quality products. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by optimizing asset performance, fostering collaboration, and contributing to GSK’s mission of getting ahead of disease together.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Lead investigations into equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage asset criticality ranking and deploy associated actions, such as functional analysis and component FMEA.
  • Oversee the execution of equipment qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Define and manage maintenance contracts with OEMs and service providers, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches to enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance waste.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Basic Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • At least 8 years of experience in equipment maintenance and reliability within the pharmaceutical or process manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial standards, GMP, and EHS requirements.
  • Proven experience in equipment validation and qualification processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external contractors effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use tools like RCA and FMEA.
Preferred Qualification
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience in implementing predictive maintenance programs and risk-based inspections.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for driving innovation and sustainability in engineering practices.
