Job summary

An interior design and build company in Singapore is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage post-tender project costing and support the project team. Responsibilities include preparing budget costings, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Ideal candidates have a diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Management, with at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Experience in interior fit-outs/renovation industry is an advantage.
  • Candidates with relevant qualifications but no experience may be considered.

Job description

We are an interior design and build company and we are looking to hire the right candidate to coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery and installation of quality products to clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for all post-tender project costing and deliverables.
  • Prepare budget costing including taking off quantity, cost breakdown, ensuring all cost meets budget targets.
  • Obtain quotation from subcons and suppliers for price comparison.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve competitive pricing.
  • To issue & process work order upon confirmation of order by client.
  • To Issue purchases order to Supplies / Sub-Contractor, verify payments, settlement of final accounts with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule and transportation
  • Monitor and keep track of deliveries from suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Support Project Team to ensure all site installations are on schedule and according to customer requirements
  • Issue of Delivery Order to client
  • Support Project team on submission of documents to commence work and upon completion of projects.
  • Preparation of progress claims, variation orders, settlement of final accounts with client.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building Management or equivalent relevant qualification
  • At least 2 Year(s) of relevant working experience
  • Working experience in the interior fit-outs / renovation industry an advantage.
  • Candidates without related working experiences but with relevant qualifications can be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software.
  • Can communicate effectively in English & Mandarin.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
