Responsibilities
- Manage company’s project performance liaising with internal project managers to deliver operational KPIs.
- Prepare quarterly reports and present results and project status to stakeholders.
- Maintain, analyse, and forecast project costs for management.
- Actively support budgeting and forecasting processes, reviewing variances monthly.
- Liaise with external auditors for statutory and interim audits.
- Provide insights into project WIP, collections, risks, opportunities, and cash flow.
- Review and process project‑related payments and invoices.
- Attend project management meetings to provide financial updates and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to project accounting or construction/engineering industries.
- Strong understanding of project cost control, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
