Job summary

GD Precision Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a skilled CNC machinist to read technical drawings, set up machines, and program cutting paths using computer software. You will prepare tools, adjust settings, and verify first article dimensions with gauges to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include performing QA tests, optimizing paths for production, troubleshooting issues, and guiding operators on proper CNC operation and safety. The role supports NPI and RFQ activities in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Setting up CNC machines to customer drawing specifications
• Modeling cutting paths using computer software
• Performing First Article inspections with gauges to verify dimensions
• Troubleshooting machine issues and optimizing cut paths
• Providing guidance to operators on CNC operation and safety

Responsibilities

• Set machine to meet first article tolerances and dimensions
• Perform QA tests to ensure parts meet specifications
• Adjust cutting paths/settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
• Load and select correct tools for materials and programming
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during production
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning

• Responsible ofsetting the machine to meet the First Article base on the customer drawing,tolerance and dimensions
• Perform qualityassurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
• Choosing and loading the correct tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
• Trouble shoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
• Perform basicmachine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
• Responsible of providing and guide the operators on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs, and to use the gauges to check the critical dimensions for all parts.
