Job summary

A community care organization in Singapore is inviting applications for the position of Programme Executive. This role involves maintaining a volunteer base, planning engaging activities, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance care for the elderly. St Joseph's Home, a Person‑centred residential healthcare facility located in Jurong West, has been redefining the way we take care of our elderly, and would like to invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of: PROGRAMME EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow volunteer base through outreach to individuals, community‑based groups, and corporations
  • In close collaboration with our therapy & nursing teams, plan and execute engaging programmes, cognitive & wellness activities tailored for our residents
  • Recruit & train suitable volunteers to support our programmes, including maintaining our volunteer database and monitoring their engagement levels
  • Partner with schools, corporates, community groups, and donors to co‑create meaningful & fun events
  • Prepare relevant management reports, involve in planning of budget
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field or equivalent with at least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar job scope (prior experience in the Community Care sector will be an advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Office programs with basic graphic design skills, experience with volunteer management software/app will also be an advantage
  • When required, available to work in the evenings and weekends
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin or dialect (to communicate with our residents)
Key Assets and Abilities
  • A good team player with the ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Fluent in spoken English, ability to converse in Mandarin/dialect would be an advantage
  • A friendly, warm and engaging personality
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for details

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
