A community outreach organization in Singapore is seeking full-time event staff to support their career guidance programs. The role involves engaging with the public at events to share information about employability services. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have proficiency in MS Office and design tools like Canva. The position also includes various administrative responsibilities. Flexibility to work during weekends and events is essential.
This role reports to the Community Engagement Manager / Line Supervisor to supports AKG's Community Outreach programs. He / she will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of AKG Career Matching Programme (CMP) and Polaris by AKG – Career Guidance Programme.
We are seeking full-time event staff with outgoing and confident personalities. You will be deployed to on-site events to engage with the public, share information about AKG's employability services, and assist with the onboarding process.
Service Promotion: Demonstrate the unique selling points of AKG's employability services and how they can benefit prospective clients.
Driving Attachments and Sign-Ups: To generate active enquiry leads, sign-ups and attachments as per given KPIs
Event Support: Assist with event setup through to teardown. Effectively manage engagement activities, including ushering, actively soliciting public participation in organized activities, and performing crowd control duties
Data Collection and Management: Collection of onboarding documents and ensure timely and accurate data entry into Event Tracking / CRS systems
Administrative & Marketing Support: Support for day-to-day administrative duties such as management of vendors and processing of invoices, customer satisfaction surveys, event registration form and basic marketing activities.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other tasks (e.g., Covering Ops Admin, Supporting New Pilots) as delegated by Line Supervisor
5-days work week, with inclusive on of the weekends, possibly to start work at retail/ events/ roadshow working hours.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Resilient and adaptable, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Proficiency in Canva, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft/Google Forms (experience in marketing collateral design and / or content creation a plus)
Adhere to AKG, Project and local Government guidelines, policies and procedures at all times
Adhere to Event Engagement objectives and meet quality standards
Ensure documentation on all systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner
Provide accurate and timely reporting on all relevant activities
Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance to PDPA requirements
