Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager/ Centre Manager (CM)/ Assistant Centre Manager (ACM)/ Senior Programme Executive (SPE), the Programme Executive (PE) works closely with the Centre in-charge to manage the daily operations of the assigned Active Ageing Centre, so that it can fulfill its intended purposes as stipulated by the funders and LBSA.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Community Outreach – Assist in the execution of the Community Outreach Plan.
- Relationship Management - Engage community partners, build effective and sustainable partnerships with them to serve the needs of the seniors.
- Recruitment of Members - Promote and advertise AAC programme to seniors in designate blocks.
- Volunteer Management - Identify new volunteers, engage and support volunteers for activities.
Day-to-Day Centre Operations
- Programmes and Activities - Assist in collecting data, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes.
Financial Reporting
- Adhere to planned budget allocated to the Centre. Ensure proper documentation of finance-related transactions.
Other Duties
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the SCM/ CM/ ACM/ SPE
Qualifications & Requirements
- Related qualification in working with the elderly or in the social service sector
- At least 1 year of experience in direct operational work (especially in the area of Eldercare), such as conducting and evaluating programmes/ activities; conducting of needs assessment
- Has some prior experience in stakeholder management, especially in working with community partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Enjoy working with seniors and volunteers
- Good administrative skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills, a team player, yet able to work independently
- Good communications skills, preferably bilingual with dialects
