Contract Duration: 6 months

Working Hours:

  • Mon–Thu: 8.30am – 6.00pm
  • Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a Temporary Business Development Assistant to support programme management and business development activities. The role reports to the Associate Director and involves providing administrative, coordination, and logistical support to ensure smooth planning and delivery of academic programmes and short courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct desktop research to identify opportunities and support ongoing projects.
  • Provide administrative support for short courses, including preparing teaching contracts, client contracts, programme schedules and information packs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (faculty, operations, finance) to ensure accurate and timely communication of course details and materials.
  • Support the planning and delivery of short courses for professionals and pre-university students.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor or HOD.
Requirements
  • Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or higher.
  • Prior experience in events or conference management is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with IT systems.
  • Good coordination and organisational skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • A resourceful, meticulous, and resilient team player who can work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
